Projects
Projects are the core unit of BuzzView. Each project tracks your brand across a set of prompts and AI platforms.
What is a Project
A project represents a complete analysis run for a specific brand. It defines the brand being tracked, the prompts to query, which AI platforms to use, and the language and location context. All your results, history, and reports live inside a project.
You can create multiple projects — for example, one per market, one per product line, or one for each client you manage.
Creating a Project
Follow these steps to set up a new project:
- 1Name your projectUse a descriptive name like "Q2 Brand Audit" or "UK Market Analysis" so it's easy to identify later.
- 2Enter your brand nameUse the name exactly as customers would mention it in conversation — this is what BuzzView looks for in AI responses.
- 3Add your brand's website domainThis enables citation tracking — BuzzView identifies when AI platforms link to or reference your site.
- 4Write or upload your promptsAdd the search queries you want to monitor. You can type them manually or import from a CSV or .txt file.
- 5Select AI platforms to analyzeChoose one or more of: ChatGPT, Google AI Overview, Perplexity, Google AI Mode.
- 6Choose language and locationSet the market context for the analysis. AI responses are often localized.
- 7Review and launchCheck the credit cost estimate on the review screen, then confirm to start the analysis.
Uploading Prompts
Manual Entry
Type prompts one at a time directly in the project creation form. This works well for small sets of 10–20 carefully chosen queries.
Bulk Import
For larger prompt sets, upload a CSV or .txt file. CSV format: one prompt per row, with an optional second column for tags. The .txt format accepts one prompt per line.
The importer validates your file and shows a preview before adding prompts to the project, so you can catch formatting issues early.
Language & Location
BuzzView supports analysis in multiple languages and locations. This matters because AI search results are often localized — the same query in English UK and English US can return different brand mentions and citations.
If you serve multiple markets, create separate projects for each region to get accurate, market-specific data rather than blending results.
Managing Projects
From your projects dashboard you can view all projects, check their status, run new analyses, edit project settings, or delete projects you no longer need.
Projects retain their full analysis history, so you can compare results across multiple runs over time and track how your AI visibility evolves.
