Exports

Export your BuzzView data to CSV or XLSX for use in spreadsheets, BI tools, or custom analyses.

What You Can Export

BuzzView lets you export the data behind any view in your project dashboard — prompt-level results, citation lists, brand mention summaries, and competitor comparison tables. Exports give you the raw data behind every chart and metric so you can analyze it in your own tools.

Export Formats

CSV
Comma-separated values, compatible with any spreadsheet tool or data pipeline. Best for large datasets and programmatic processing.
XLSX
Microsoft Excel format with formatted columns and headers. Best for manual analysis and sharing with non-technical stakeholders.

How to Export

  1. 1
    Open your project dashboard
Navigate to the project whose data you want to export.
  2. 2
    Click the Export button
The Export button appears in the top-right area of the dashboard.
  3. 3
    Select the data scope
Choose whether to export the full project, the currently filtered view, or a specific tab (e.g., citations only).
  4. 4
    Choose your format
Select CSV or XLSX depending on how you plan to use the data.
  5. 5
    Click Download
The file is prepared and downloaded to your device immediately.

What's Included

Data Fields

Each row in the export represents one prompt-platform combination. Fields included:

  • Prompt text and assigned tags
  • AI platform name
  • Language and location settings
  • Brand mentioned (yes/no) and mention position
  • Sentiment score
  • Citation URLs and cited domains
  • Competitor mentions detected in the same response
Apply your dashboard filters before exporting to get a targeted dataset. For example, filter by tag and platform before exporting to isolate exactly the slice of data you need — rather than filtering a large spreadsheet manually afterwards.

Using Exports

Common Use Cases

Teams use BuzzView exports for a variety of downstream analyses:

  • Tracking visibility trends in a spreadsheet across multiple analysis runs over time.
  • Feeding prompt-level data into BI dashboards or data visualization tools.
  • Sharing detailed results with agencies, clients, or stakeholders outside of BuzzView.
  • Running custom segmentation analysis that goes beyond what the BuzzView UI provides.
  • Combining BuzzView data with other marketing data sources for unified reporting.
