Integrations

Connect BuzzView to your AI tools via MCP (Model Context Protocol). Access your project data, visibility metrics, and brand insights directly inside Claude, ChatGPT, and Perplexity.

What are BuzzView Integrations?

BuzzView supports integration with AI assistants via the Model Context Protocol (MCP) — a standard that lets AI tools securely query external data sources in real time. Once connected, you can ask questions about your brand's AI visibility, pull competitor data, and analyse citation trends without leaving your AI tool of choice.

Claude.ai
Connect BuzzView as an MCP server in Claude.ai to query your projects and visibility data in conversations.
ChatGPT
Integrate via the ChatGPT connector to access BuzzView data inside ChatGPT.
Perplexity
Use the Perplexity integration to bring BuzzView insights into your Perplexity workspace.

Getting Your API Key

All integrations require a BuzzView API key. To get one:

  1. 1
    Go to Settings
Navigate to Settings → API Keys in the dashboard.
  2. 2
    Create a new key
Click "Create API Key", give it a name (e.g. "Claude Integration"), and confirm.
  3. 3
    Copy the key
Your key is shown only once. Copy it immediately and store it securely. Keys start with bv_.
Keep your API key secret
Your API key provides full read access to your BuzzView projects. Do not share it publicly or commit it to version control. If a key is compromised, delete it from Settings → API Keys and create a new one.

What You Can Do Once Connected

Available Data

Once an integration is active, you can ask your AI tool questions like:

  • "What is the AI visibility score for my brand in project X?"
  • "Which competitors are mentioned most often in my project?"
  • "Show me the top cited domains for this project."
  • "What prompts is my brand not being mentioned in?"
  • "Summarise my brand's performance across AI platforms this month."

Available Actions via MCP

The BuzzView MCP server exposes the following data endpoints:

  • List projects
  • Get project summary and KPIs
  • Get visibility history
  • Get share of voice history
  • List brands, competitors, prompts, and citations
Use the Claude integration for ad-hoc analysis and strategy discussions — ask Claude to interpret your BuzzView data and suggest content actions based on your current visibility gaps.

Troubleshooting

Connection not working

If the integration fails to connect, check that:

  • Your API key is correct and has not been deleted or rotated.
  • The MCP server URL is entered exactly as: https://mcp.buzzview.ai
  • Your BuzzView account is active and your subscription is valid.

Data not appearing

If connected but no data returns, ensure you have at least one completed project in BuzzView. The MCP server only returns data for projects with completed runs.
